Civil servants, NHS staff, and Ambulance Service colleagues across the United Kingdom! The DHSC department of Data Science invites you to participate in an Ambulance Data Hackathon. You'll be able to attend in person in London or Leeds, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
You will be challenged to analyse hospital-level discharge data, hospital-level ambulance data, and care home capacity data to explore the causes of the variation in discharge delays across various NHS Trusts.

If you're interested in health tech, then the WA Data Science Innovation Hub invites you to participate in Health Hackathon 2022. At this week-long event, participants will collaborate to design and build innovative digital and data-driven solutions to real-world healthcare challenges. Projects will involve techniques such as using techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, automation, data analytics and visualization, and digitization.
As part of a small team, you'll build a prototype solution to a healthcare challenge and present it in two rounds to a panel of expert judges. Projects will be judged based on the solution’s social impact, design principles, viability, innovation, and scalability. The winning team will receive a cash prize of $5,000 plus a package of cloud services from Amazon Web Services.
